PIA Group strengthens its presence in Walloon Brabant and Brussels with the addition of IXO FACTO

GHENT, 14 October 2026 – PIA Group, the fastest-growing international accountancy, audit and advisory group in the Benelux region and Germany, is strengthening its presence in Walloon Brabant and Brussels with the addition of IXO FACTO. The accountancy and tax advisory firm has two offices, in Dion-le-Val and Ixelles, and a team of 20 people that primarily supports entrepreneurs, SMEs and professionals. “IXO FACTO has strong local roots and is ready for its next phase of growth,” says Steven Brouckaert, PIA Group’s Executive Chairman. “With PIA Group, the firm gains access to the support and expertise it needs to take that next step. This fits perfectly with how we approach growth: locally where it creates value, together where it makes us stronger.”

More than 30 years of experience as a foundation

IXO FACTO is PIA Group’s 57th member firm in Belgium. The firm was created in 2021 through the merger of two accountancy firms and builds on a history dating back to 1991, when Jean-François Lepeut established his firm. He is the father of Corentin Lepeut, who now leads IXO FACTO together with Salvatore Stancampiano, Florence Mullaert and Arnaud Ninane. All partners will become shareholders of PIA Group.

IXO FACTO supports clients across a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, IT, construction, real estate and healthcare, combining a personal approach with a broad view of the business. “IXO reflects the way we see our role,” says Corentin Lepeut. “The letters stand for Initiative, eXpertise and Optimisation. That vision goes beyond processing figures: it is about thinking ahead, working alongside entrepreneurs and supporting them in broader business decisions.”

Locally where it creates value, together where it makes us stronger

The accountancy, advisory and audit sectors are undergoing significant change. PIA Group supports its firms through that transition with specialised teams and pooled expertise in areas such as IT, digitalisation and HR. This gives local firms access to technology and knowledge that would be difficult to build up independently, while allowing them to retain their own identity and way of working. “Our role is not to force local firms into a uniform model,” says Steven Brouckaert. “We want to make them stronger behind the scenes, so they can deliver even more value to their clients.”

“The strength of a local accountancy firm lies in its knowledge of its clients, the personal relationship and the entrepreneurial spirit within the team,” says Nathalie Calle, CEO of PIA Group Belux. “We want to preserve that local strength while reinforcing it with the knowledge and opportunities of a larger group. That is what we mean by locally where it creates value, together where it makes us stronger.”

Building further with added strength

“That is exactly what appealed to us about PIA Group’s model,” says Corentin Lepeut. “We have grown strongly in recent years. At the same time, we have found that certain challenges are becoming increasingly difficult to organise on our own. Thanks to PIA Group, we can draw on the group’s expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence and software selection. We also receive support with strategy and internal organisation to help us further professionalise. This allows us to keep focusing on what matters most to us: our clients.”

New opportunities for clients and employees

Joining PIA Group also creates new opportunities for clients. “We gain access to knowledge that we do not currently have entirely in-house,” says Salvatore Stancampiano. “Through PIA Advisory, we can bring in the right specialist more quickly for complex client questions, including in legal, VAT, corporate finance, wealth planning, digital transformation and CFO-as-a-service.”

The affiliation also creates new opportunities for employees. “Within PIA Group, our people gain access to more training, knowledge sharing and expertise, while remaining part of their trusted team,” says Florence Mullaert, CHO and partner at IXO FACTO.

PIA Group also continues its international growth

The addition of IXO FACTO marks another step in PIA Group’s growth in Belgium. At the same time, the group is continuing to build its network of strong local firms in the Netherlands and Germany. PIA Group’s international development is supported by Baltisse, the family office of the Balcaen entrepreneurial family and a long-term investor in entrepreneurship and growth.

Across all the countries in which PIA Group operates, the group sees the same need among firms in accountancy, advisory, audit and broader business services: the sector is evolving rapidly, and local firms want access to expertise, technology and investment capacity without giving up their identity or client relationships. “That is exactly the combination PIA Group offers,” concludes Steven Brouckaert. “We want to support strong local firms in their further development while giving them the freedom to remain entrepreneurial. We therefore look to PIA Group’s continued growth with confidence, and to welcoming strong new firms that want to build the future of accountancy, advisory, audit and business services with us across borders.”
